Baba Siddique Demise: Senior NCP chief Baba Siddique handed away after being fired upon by unidentified individuals in Mumbai on Saturday. The incident occurred close to the workplace of his son, Zeeshan Siddique. At the least two individuals associated to the firing incident have been taken into custody. In keeping with Mumbai Police, a 9.9 mm pistol was used within the firing.
Following the incident, Siddique, 65, was rushed to Lilavati Hospital, the place he was pronounced useless upon admission. The Nirmal Nagar police station has registered an FIR, and the Crime Department-CID has joined the investigation.

Briefing in regards to the incident, Further CP Paramjit Singh Dahiya mentioned, “Round 9:30 pm, this incident occurred in Nirmal Nagar. Baba Siddique was admitted to Lilavati Hospital after this incident. Police have arrested two accused. Crime Department Mumbai is investigating the whole matter.”

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde expressed grief over Siddique’s dying and referred to as the incident extraordinarily unlucky. Talking to reporters, he mentioned that two individuals have been arrested and the third accused is absconding.
“That is a particularly unlucky incident and I spoke to the docs and police. Two individuals have been arrested, the accused are from UP and Haryana. The third accused is absconding. We now have given directions to Mumbai Police that strict motion must be taken towards those that take regulation and order into their fingers…I’m positive that Mumbai police will quickly arrest the third accused…Strict motion can be taken towards the accused,” Shinde mentioned.
