NTA Postpones CSIR-UGC-NET Examination Citing Unavoidable Circumstances And Logistic Points

Days after the NTA cancelled the UGC-NET exams it has introduced to postpone the Joint CSIR-UGC-NET Examination June 2024, scheduled to be carried out between June 25 to 27. The NTA mentioned that the choice is taken as a consequence of some ‘unavoidable circumstances’ and logistical points. It added that the revised schedule will probably be launched later via the official web site. 

The Nationwide Testing Company launched an announcement that learn, “The candidates are hereby knowledgeable that the Joint CSIR-UGC-NET Examination June-2024 which was scheduled to be held between 25.06.2024 to 27.06.2024 is being postponed as a consequence of unavoidable circumstances in addition to logistic points. The revised schedule for the conduct of this examination will probably be introduced later via the official web site.”

The CSIR-UGC-NET examination takes place biannually, in June and December, masking 5 topics: Chemical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Bodily Sciences, all in a computer-based format.

The event comes days after the Schooling Ministry cancelled the UGC-NET examination as a consequence of ‘integrity considerations’.  The UGC-NET assesses the eligibility for assistant professor roles, junior analysis fellowships (JRF), and admission to PhD packages in Indian universities and faculties.
