Pakistan-New Zealand World Cup warm-up to be closed-door sport – Instances of India

HYDERABAD: The World Cup warm-up match between Pakistan and New Zealand to be performed on the RGIC Stadium right here on September 29 shall be a closed-door affair as town police have expressed their incapacity to supply safety for the match. The truth is, the secretary has instructed BCCI in-charge CEO Hemang Amin to do the needful,” he added.
Durga Prasad, former DGP of the CRPF, additionally mentioned the opposite warm-up match on October three between Australia and Pakistan shall be performed in entrance of spectators. The opposite three World Cup matches — Pakistan vs Netherlands (Oct 6), New Zealand vs Netherlands (Oct 9) and Pakistan vs Sri Lanka (Oct 10) — shall be held as per schedule, he added.
