After overcoming visa formalities that brought about a delay, Shaw is now all set to make his much-awaited debut for the county aspect on Friday. He’ll be part of Northamptonshire’s lineup as they tackle Gloucestershire within the One-Day Cup at Cheltenham.
Sadly, the delay in visa processing resulted in Shaw lacking out on collaborating in two four-day County Championship fixtures, however he’s desperate to make an influence within the One-Day Cup and showcase his expertise within the English home cricket scene.
“It is an important alternative for me and I am actually grateful to Northamptonshire for giving me this opportunity to specific myself right here,” Shaw was quoted as saying in a media launch.
“It may be wonderful I feel and I am actually trying ahead to it.”
Shaw final performed for India on the tour of Sri Lanka in July 2021, and was a part of the squad for the T20Is at dwelling towards New Zealand earlier this 12 months.
The Delhi Capitals batter had a woeful IPL 2023 marketing campaign and was dropped halfway by the competitors.
