New Delhi: The federal government on Monday tabled the Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Invoice 2024 in Lok Sabha, geared toward addressing paper leak instances with stringent measures. In accordance with the proposed laws, all offenses associated to unfair means within the conduct of public examinations shall be cognizable, non-bailable, and non-compoundable.
If the invoice is handed, people concerned in unfair practices throughout examinations may face imprisonment for no less than three years, extendable to 5 years, together with a wonderful of as much as ten lakh rupees.
