The Congress and another opposition have been demanding a joint parliamentary committee (JPC) probe following the indictment by US prosecutors of Adani Group chairperson Gautam Adani and different firm officers on bribery and fraud fees.
Opposition MPs, together with senior Congress chief and newly elected Lok Sabha MP from Wayanad Priyanka Gandhi had been seen carrying jackets through the protest outdoors Parliament. It’s pertinent to say that MPs of Trinamool Congress (TMC) and Samajwadi Social gathering (SP) will not be collaborating on this protest.

Rahul Gandhi Jabs PM Modi
Amid the protest over Adani US Indictment concern, Rahul Gandhi took a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying that he cannot get billionaire Gautam Adani investigated as Adani’s investigation will imply his personal investigation. “…Modi ji cannot get Adani ji investigated as a result of if he does that, he can be getting himself investigated…Modi aur Adani ek hain. Do nahi hain, ek hain,” Gandhi mentioned.
