Srinagar: The upper reaches of Kashmir Valley, together with north Kashmir’s Bandipora, obtained recent snowfall in a single day, aligning with predictions from the Meteorological Division. Snowfall was reported throughout the high-altitude areas of Gurez, Sadna Prime, Tulel, Gulmarg hills, and Sonamarg, resulting in a pointy drop in temperatures that had residents reaching for heat clothes.
Dr. Mukhtar Ahmad, Director of the Meteorological Division, confirmed that mild snowfall and rain are prone to proceed, primarily within the higher reaches.
