JAIPUR: A military soldier was stripped and assaulted in police custody right here, Rajasthan minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore stated on Monday after he visited the Shipra Path police station the place he rebuked the cops over the alleged incident and raised the matter with the Director Common of Police. A sub-inspector and three constables have been shunted out and an inquiry has been ordered, DGP U R Sahoo instructed PTI.
The DGP stated that the police had raided an unlawful hookah bar the earlier night time the place they apprehended some individuals and the soldier was amongst them. “One sub-inspector and three constables have been shunted to police traces by the Jaipur police commissioner and an inquiry has been ordered,” the DGP stated.

Rajasthan’s Sainik Kalyan minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, who has served within the Military, reached the police station and questioned the conduct of the cops. “A really unhappy incident got here to my information the place a soldier, who’s serving in Kashmir and is visiting right here, was stripped by some police personnel and crushed with sticks. He stated that such incidents can’t be tolerated.
“It’s written within the medical report that he was assaulted by individuals. An Indian military soldier has been caught and crushed up by 5 police personnel, that too with none motive. So strict motion is critical in opposition to those that are breaking the regulation within the police division,” he stated. Rathore stated he spoke to the Director Common of Police who assured him of motion.
