‘Sonia Gandhi Shed Tears For Terrorists…’: BJP Chief Hits Again Over Kharge’s ‘Terrorist Celebration’ Comment

Union Minister Pralhad Joshi hit again on the Congress social gathering over social gathering president Mallikarjun Kharge’s ‘terrorist social gathering’ comment on the Bharatiya Janata Celebration (BJP) saying Sonia Gandhi ‘shed tears’ for terrorists. Joshi additional accused Congress-led UPA authorities of ‘being gentle’ on terror convicts like Afzal Guru.

Taking to social media platform ‘X’, the Union Minister stated, “Mallikarjun Kharge mistakenly referred to as BJP as Terrorist social gathering by slip of tongue, nonetheless it was Sonia Gandhi who shed tears for terrorists who died in Batla Home. It was congress which was gentle on Afzal Guru. It was congress who repealed POTA in 2004. It was their PM Manmohan Singh who shook palms with Separatist Militants” 

He added that these days Kashmiri youth have employment alternatives as a substitute of ‘stone’, which was the case throughout Congress’s tenure. “As a senior chief, Kharge ought to double test what he says.” Joshi wrote. 

On October 12, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge strongly refuted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s assertion that the Congress social gathering is influenced by “City Naxals.” Kharge accused the BJP of being a “social gathering of terrorists,” holding them accountable for lynchings and severe offenses towards Scheduled Castes (SCs) and tribal communities. 

“Progressive individuals are being referred to as City Naxals…that is his (PM Modi’s) behavior. His social gathering (BJP) itself is a terrorist social gathering. They have interaction in lynching, assault folks, urinate within the mouths of Scheduled Castes members, and rape tribal folks. In addition they help those that commit these acts, after which they blame others,” Kharge stated. 

The BJP condemned the comment, with Nationwide Spokesperson C.R. Kesavan criticizing Mallikarjun Kharge for his current feedback. Kesavan accused the Congress social gathering of possessing a “divisive and communal mindset,” akin to that of the “colonial British.”
