The mother-in-law and the brother-in-law of techie Atul Subhash, who dedicated suicide in Bengaluru, fled their residence in Jaunpur on Thursday, at the same time as Uttar Pradesh Police mentioned it was but to obtain any official communication from Karnataka.
The 34-year-old techie ended his life on Monday in Bengaluru, alleging harassment by the hands of his estranged spouse and her household. A case of abetment to suicide was registered towards his spouse Nikita Singhania, her mom Nisha, father Anurag and uncle Sushil.
Round 1 am, Nisha Singhania and her son Anurag alias Piyush Singhania left their residence within the Khowa Mandi space right here on a motorbike and have since not returned, a police official instructed PTI.
Purported video clips on social media additionally confirmed them leaving the house round midnight.
“We’re but to obtain any official communication from the Bengaluru Police over this case,” Jaunpur Superintendent of Police Ajaypal Sharma instructed PTI.
He mentioned there was a routine-level of police deployment within the Khowa Mandi space as required for regulation and order upkeep.
In the meantime, Kotwali police station in-charge Inspector Mithilesh Mishra mentioned police don’t have any orders to arrest Nisha Singhania and others, or forestall them from leaving their residence, or place them below home arrest.
Whereas her household lives in Jaunpur, Nikita Singhania stays in Delhi together with her son and works there, in keeping with her kinfolk. She had gotten married to Subhash in April 2019 and in 2022 she lodged an FIR towards husband Subhash and in-laws, accusing them of dowry harassment.
