Addressing media throughout his marketing campaign path, the BJP MP stated, “Didi goes to Goa and says, ‘I’m Goa’s daughter’, then goes to Tripura and says, ‘I’m Tripura’s daughter’. Resolve who your father is? It’s not good to be simply anyone’s daughter,” he stated on the digicam.
The TMC stated that Ghosh has zero respect for girls of Bengal. “One factor is crystal clear: Ghosh has ZERO RESPECT for the ladies of Bengal, whether or not it’s the revered goddess of Hinduism or the one girl Chief Minister of India,” stated the ruling celebration.
This criticism echoes a earlier controversy surrounding Dilip Ghosh’s remarks on Goddess Durga in 2021, the place he questioned Maa Durga’s lineage. “Lord Ram was an emperor. Some take into account him an avatar. We all know the names of his ancestors. Do we all know the identical about Durga?” Ghosh stated.
In the meantime, BJP launched the listing of 19 candidates for Bengal. BJP has fielded Rekha Patra from Basirhat, who’s a resident of Sandeshkhali. It was she who first raised the voice of the ladies of Sandeshkhali.
