Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami introduced on Sunday that Agniveers from the state who full their service will likely be supplied positions in varied state departments, and provisions for his or her reservation can even be established.
The chief minister was addressing an occasion in Dehradun when he talked about that following the introduction of the Agniveer scheme, he held a gathering with Military officers, veterans, troopers, and different authorities involved.
On June 15, 2022, he had introduced on ‘X’ that his authorities will accommodate the Agniveers in varied departments of the state, together with police, and can give them precedence, he added.
He asserted {that a} reservation provision can be established for Agniveers. Dhami added that if essential, a proposal to enact a legislation to assist Agniveers will likely be launched within the Cupboard and offered to the meeting.
Dhami assured Agniveers returning after 4 years of army service that their future will likely be secured. He has directed officers to develop a complete plan to deal with their post-service employment. Dhami highlighted that Uttarakhand, a state with a major army presence, recruits a lot of youths into the Indian Military. Consequently, the state authorities is dedicated to facilitating employment for these retired troopers. The Division of Soldier Welfare is actively making ready proposals to assist this initiative.
