An enormous protest erupted in Badlapur, Thane district, on Tuesday towards the sexual abuse of two minors at a neighborhood college. The incident sparked widespread outrage, with locals calling for a shutdown of the city. Hundreds of protesters gathered on the Badlapur railway station, blocking trains and staging a sit-in on the tracks.
The protesters, together with dad and mom and residents, demanded stern motion towards the accused and stricter security measures for college kids. Reacting to the sexual assault with two minors at a college in Badlapur, Maharashtra Training Minister Deepak Kesarkar stated, “That is a particularly distressing incident. We’ve got mobilized the total power of the state training division. Directions have been issued to 4 IAS officers from Pune and Mumbai. An investigation into the non-functioning CCTV on the college is underway…Following the criticism, there was an absence of motion, resulting in the switch of the Senior PI. We’re dedicated to fast-tracking this case and making certain that the accused receives the utmost penalty…All the division is on-site, and scholar security is our utmost concern.”
