Video: Stampede-Like Scenario As 800 Folks Flip Up For 40 Job Vacancies; Congress Says ‘Gujarat Mannequin’

A stampede-like state of affairs unfolded on Tuesday in Ankleshwar, Gujarat, as roughly 800 job seekers arrived for a walk-in interview for simply 40 vacancies at a neighborhood agency, an official reported.  

The chaotic scene was captured in movies that went viral on social media on Thursday, displaying an enormous queue of candidates pushing and shoving to achieve entry to the lodge the place the interviews have been being performed. The surge led to the collapse of the railing on the doorway ramp, inflicting a number of people to fall. Fortuitously, no accidents have been reported. 

BJP-Congress Conflict 

This incident sparked a heated alternate between the opposition Congress and the ruling BJP. The Congress criticized the ruling celebration, claiming the occasion highlighted the failures of the “Gujarat mannequin” of improvement.  

In a publish on X, the Congress said, “Gujarat mannequin of Narendra Modi. An enormous crowd of unemployed folks gathered for a lodge job in Bharuch, Gujarat. The state of affairs grew to become such that the railing of the lodge broke and the Gujarat mannequin was uncovered. Narendra Modi is imposing this mannequin of unemployment on all the nation.” 

The BJP accused the Congress of trying to defame Gujarat by the viral video.  

Of their rebuttal on X, the BJP stated, “Efforts to defame Gujarat are being made by a viral video from Ankleshwar. The commercial for the walk-in interview clearly states they require skilled candidates. This suggests these attending the interview are already employed elsewhere. Subsequently, the notion of those people being unemployed is baseless.” 

The BJP additional claimed that the opposition’s claims have been unfounded.
