Puja Khedkar, a 2023-batch IAS officer, is already below scrutiny for allegedly posing as an OBC non-creamy layer candidate and claiming disabilities with out present process required assessments. The continuing controversies have led to elevated public and official consideration on her and her household’s actions.
In keeping with an official, the incident within the video concerned a land parcel bought by Puja’s father, Dilip Khedkar, a retired Maharashtra authorities officer, in Dhadwali village in Pune’s Mulshi tehsil. Locals claimed that the Khedkars had encroached on the land of neighbouring farmers.

Chatting with information company PTI, a senior Pane Rural police official mentioned, “We’ve got taken cognisance of the video that’s circulating on social media platforms. As soon as information are ascertained, we are going to begin a probe. We’ll examine if Manorama Khedkar has a licence for the firearm.” In reference to the episode, farmer Kuldeep Pasalkar claimed Manorama Khedkar was forcefully attempting to usurp his land.
“She has been threatening different farmers as nicely. She visited my plot together with some safety guards and began threatening us whereas holding a firearm in her hand,” Pasalkar alleged.
