NEW DELHI: With the collection degree at 1-1 with two extra matches to go, the third T20I between India and South Africa turns into an all-important sport with the group successful it is not going to lose the collection.
India received the first T20I at Kingsmead, Durban by 61 runs on Friday with Sanju Samson hitting a powerful 107.
The Proteas hit again to win the 2nd T20I at St George’s Park, Gqeberha by three wickets on Sunday as Sanju Samson fell for a duck.
Sanju Samson turned 30 on November 11 and that was the day when the group was travelling from Gqeberha to Centurion for the third T20I of the collection.
The Indian cricket board (BCCI) shared a video on their official X deal with of Samson’s birthday celebrations.
The video confirmed Indian cricketers first wishing Samson within the bus on the best way to the airport and in addition had the opener slicing a birthday cake after reaching the group lodge in Centurion.
The fourth and final T20I of the collection is scheduled to be performed on the Wanderers in Johannesburg on Friday.
