The massive hits at ‘The Hundred‘ event in England are flying in all instructions, and one from the bat of Kieron Pollard nearly took the commentators out on the Sophia Gardens floor in Cardiff on Monday.
Batting for Southern Courageous, the Caribbean big-hitter Kieron Pollard smashed Welsh Hearth‘s Pakistani bowler Haris Rauf for a six at backward sq. leg. With the commentary field on the floor stage in that path, the ball seemed to be heading in direction of the glass window of the field because the commentators, together with Sri Lanka legend Kumar Sangakkara and former England placer Robert Croft, took evasive motion that was caught on digital camera.
Fortunately for everybody concerned, the ball fell simply quick and hit the digital boundary board.
