West Bengal: BJP Candidate Pranat Tudu Attacked In Jhargram Throughout sixth Part Of Lok Sabha Polls

KOLKATA: Senior BJP chief and its Jhargram candidate Pranat Tudu on Saturday claimed his convoy was attacked in Garbeta space of West Midnapore district, following which safety personnel escorting him had been injured and needed to be hospitalised. The incident occurred when Tudu was on his approach to Garbeta within the wake of complaints that BJP brokers weren’t allowed inside some polling cubicles.

“Rapidly, TMC goons who had blocked the roads began hurling bricks at my automobile. When my safety personnel tried to intervene, they had been injured. Two CISF jawans accompanying me acquired head accidents and needed to be hospitalised,” Tudu mentioned. A big police contingent was rushed to the world to manage the scenario.

The native TMC management denied the allegations and accused Tudu of making an attempt to “vitiate the peaceable polling course of”. “The BJP nominee was threatening voters. The villagers bought enraged and staged a protest,” an area TMC chief mentioned. Automobiles belonging to varied media homes had been reportedly vandalised by the mob as effectively.
